Guys Getting Creative, Piercings For Men

Choosing piercings is totally subjective, meaning it's different for everyone. What looks awesome on one person might not look good on someone else. But there are some piercings that are generally thought to go with lots of different styles. Remember that what looks good on you depends on your own taste, face shape, and personal style. Here are some piercings that most guys can rock and look awesome with!

Earlobe Piercing

Whether you decide to get one or both sides done, getting your earlobes pierced is always a safe choice for guys. The type of jewellery for earlobe piercing you choose can change how the piercing looks on you, but getting an ear piercing is a good option if you're unsure. It's also one of the least painful places to get pierced, so it's a good way to test your tolerance before trying more painful spots. Lots of guys of all ages have their ears pierced, so it's an easy choice if you're not sure what to get.

Helix Piercing

Just like the earlobes, getting your Helix pierced is a cool option for guys! It's located in the upper cartilage of your ear and can be styled with hoops or studs, both of which look awesome. It's not usually the first piercing people get, but if you want something different from the typical earlobe piercing, the helix jewellery for ear cartilage is a great choice. Lots of guys have helix piercings nowadays, so you won't be alone if you choose this option.

Nose Piercing

Nose piercings are getting super popular among guys these days. They're small, and even though they're on your face, many people don't notice them. The way you choose your jewellery, like a small simple nose stud, can change how the piercing looks. So don't worry too much and just go for it! You'll be surprised how it doesn't really change your overall look but still looks awesome!

Eyebrow Piercing

Just like the nose piercing, some guys might think that an eyebrow piercing won't suit them or look good. But guess what? You should totally rethink that. A simple curved eyebrow piercing jewellery is enough that it won't dramatically change how you look. It's a bit more painful compared to ear piercings, but if you're ready to stray from the norm, this could be an awesome choice for you.

Orbital Piercing

When you have two ear piercings connected by one piece of jewellery, it's a bit more tricky to do because you need to have both holes linked by the jewellery. So, if guys want to get this piercing, it's best to go to a pro and get advice from someone who knows what they're doing. Also, the orbital area has cartilage, so it's more painful to get pierced there. Even though guys might be able to handle pain better than girls, they still need to be careful if they want an orbit piercing.

Industrial Piercing

Industrial piercings are actually two piercings that are joined together, and they are often associated with the punk style. Because they cause a lot of damage to the ear and take longer to heal, it's not recommended for guys who are getting their ears pierced for the first time. Also, the way a long premium industrial barbell looks depends a lot on your ear shape, so it's not suitable for everyone, especially if you have really small ears.

How to Care for Pierced Ears

After getting your ears pierced, it's important to keep the earlobe clean and dry for 7-10 days. Avoid getting them dirty by not touching them when you wash your face or hair, and try not to sleep on your ears. Make sure to keep the ear holes dry and let them get some air.

You should disinfect your pierced ears with 75% alcohol 1-2 times a day, or take vitamin C orally to help them heal. It's best to leave the earrings in for about six weeks. Some piercings in certain spots may take longer to heal and be a bit trickier.

Most importantly, if you notice any inflammation or infection after getting pierced, it's important to see a doctor right away.
