STANDARD SIZE: Most standard sizes are 16G (1.2mm) and 14G (1.6mm) thickness bars due to the more rigid tissue these unconventional piercings are pierced through although Nostril piercings still claim 18G (1.0mm) and 20G (0.8mm) studs. Bar lengths are highly dependent on the individuals personal preference and piercing area.
HEALING TIME & PAIN: Again healing times and pain level both also depend on the location of the piercing as well as the aftercare and individual pain threshold.
Use saline solution with cotton pad and clean the area twice daily to remove residue and any build-up. Avoid fiddling with the jewellery or piercing area and let the healing process take place on its own also ensuring the pierced area is kept dry. Refrain from changing the jewellery frequently and avoid the use of makeup/skincare or alcohol until the piercing is healed well. Make sure your piercing is fully healed before you switch up on any new jewellery.
